Brambles Chine is just a ten minute drive from Yarmouth a favourite landing place for yachtsmen and visitors to England's "South Island".  With over 380 crossings a day from Lymington, Portsmouth and Southampton, the Isle of Wight is the most accessible island retreat in the South of England.  There is plenty of activity in  the summer months and very relaxing in the winter.  Brambles Chine is the perfect base to explore this wonderful island.  From walking to golf, cycling to fishing the Isle of Wight offers a wide range of activities to suit everyone.

With over 500 miles of cycle track, extensive bridleways and a 62-mile "The Round the Island" route is a fantastic way to explore the island.  There are 9 golf courses on the island offering a challenging game to the high and the low handicap, the nearest one being at Freshwater Bay.

There are many attractions on the island for families to enjoy from adventure parks and Go-Karting to fossil hunts and fairgrounds.

Brambles Chine is a self-catering site on a mainly level area close to the beach.  Facilities include playing fields with a play area for young children, pitch and putt and crazy golf.  There is a launderette and a small shop selling basic groceries.  The nearest village is Freshwater just a 5 minute car journey, where there are a number of banks, including Lloyds, Barclays and Nat West, you will also find  supermarkets to stock up on groceries
